Our Story
It Started With A Simple Belief...
Let me tell you how this all started.
Before Webgeaz became a company, it was just an idea we couldn't let go of: what if Malaysia could build technology that's good enough to stand alongside the world's best?
We didn't start by building systems. We started with a framework called Sufia, a simpler way to build systems faster, and build them in a way that wouldn't become tomorrow's headache.
Of course, nobody sees something new and instantly goes, "Yep, I trust that." Fair enough.
So instead of convincing people with slides, we convinced them with working systems. We built with Sufia ourselves.
Turns out, it worked.
That first version grew into Sufia 2, and today it's Sufia 3, with AI built into the journey. Since 2013, it's been powering every system we've built across Malaysia.
We still think of Sufia as our first big bet. It's grown up with us. And if it keeps helping organisations build better, faster and with more ownership, maybe it's doing its small part in helping Malaysia move forward too.
What Sufia Actually Does
Sufia isn't just the name we kept. It's the foundation behind every system we've built since 2013.
It automatically prepares the workspace, database, and access controls, allowing our engineers to focus on solving business problems instead of configuring infrastructure.
Built on Kubernetes, Sufia enables systems to recover, scale, and adapt as demand grows. It also includes a built-in AI assistant that drafts changes from plain-English instructions, with every change reviewed and approved by our engineers before deployment.
- Modular architecture: one change doesn't affect the entire system
- Human-approved AI: every AI-drafted change is reviewed before deployment
- Security by design: built in from the start, not added later
